Our Story

Marco and Davide are Italian friends, living in Ireland for over 20 years. They have poured their energy into creating a truly wonderful traditional Italian pork sausage. They use only 100% Irish pork, sourced, and prepared locally.

Using a family secret recipe, they have created sausages with a uniquely Irish-Italian twist. They have vowed to add as much pork as possible to achieve a mouth-watering taste that is near impossible to resist.

La Tradizione

“La Tradizione began with two Italian friends, living in Ireland for many years, meeting up to make Italian-style sausages for ourselves, families, and friends. What started as a simple idea, quickly became a family-gathering tradition.

With every family occasion the demand for our food and sausages grew. After years of trying and testing recipes (with some harsh critics) we have received approval from family and friends. We have now decided to make our food available for everyone to enjoy.

La Tradizione was founded in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, an event that has forced us all to reassess our values and goals. It helped us prioritise the important things in life. We are truly passionate about these products and about bringing the Italian traditions, that we grew up with, to a wider Irish public.

Our products are unique because they follow the artisan recipes of the true Italian sausage. We have long-held family recipes that we have evolved into our product. With a high-meat content and a perfect blend of both lean and fat pork meat, the sausages burst with mouth-watering flavour. We always aim to use natural ingredients and no preservatives. Our sausages are low in fat and hi in proteins
